Kentucky High School Softball - Magoffin County knocked off by Johnson Central

March 27, 2025: Paintsville, KY 41240

The Johnson Central Golden Eagles overwhelmed the visiting Magoffin County Hornets softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Barberton Magics (Barberton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 31. Johnson Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Magics go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Chippewa (Doylestown, OH).

The Hornets (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Tigers go into the District 57 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Paintsville was routed by Bethel (Tipp City, OH), 10-2, in a non-league challenge.
