Texas High School Softball - Spring Hill bounces Pine Tree

March 27, 2026: Longview, TX 75605

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) and the visiting Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), observed Spring Hill's softball team notch a victory over Pine Tree by a final score of 16-6.

The Panthers (23-5) will now prepare for their bout against Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Buckeyes go into the 4A Region II District 16 bout with a 10-13 record. In their last bout, Gilmer was routed by Carthage (Carthage, TX), 12-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 match, on Tuesday, March 31. Pine Tree will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 4-22 record after their 17-0 league loss to Henderson (Henderson, TX).
