Texas High School Softball - Pine Tree tipped by Spring Hill

The Spring Hill Panthers the host Pine Tree Pirates softball squad by a count of 4-2 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilmer for a 4A Region II District 16 outing on Friday, March 6. Spring Hill will encounter a Buckeyes team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Pine Tree moves to 5-8 on the season. The Pirates host Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 4A Region II District 16 outing on Friday, March 6. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 3-17. Chapel Hill lost 17-0 in their recent league outing against Henderson (Henderson, TX)
