Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Springfield for a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Glenwood will battle a Senators squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Senators record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Springfield Southeast falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Normal University (Normal, IL) to battle the Pioneers in a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Normal University lost 13-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL)
