In Monday's league contest, the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL), by a margin of 17-0.
With the triumph, Glenwood moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Titans host Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL) to play the Crimsons in a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, April 12. The Crimsons come into the contest with a record of 1-6.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) in a Central State Eight contest, on Thursday, April 21. Springfield Southeast will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
