The Saraland Spartans routed the visiting Leroy Bears softball squad by a final score of 12-3 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Spartans (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Blount (Eight Mile, AL). The Leopards go into the 6A Area 1 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Blount notched a victory over Rain (Mobile, AL), 20-5, in a non-league battle.
The Bears now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Excel for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 29. Leroy will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Flomaton (Flomaton, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
