The New Site Royals softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Thrasher Rebels to 5 in the Royals non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, New Site moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Royals host Belmont (Belmont, MS) to clash with the Cardinals in a 2A Region 1 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 8-7. Belmont won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Vina (Vina, AL)

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS) in a 1A Region 2 game, on Thursday, March 31. Thrasher will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-11 record after their 13-1 league loss to Biggersville (Corinth, MS).
