The Wilkes Central Eagles baseball team (Wilkesboro, NC), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Tuesday's league outing with the host East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC)

The Cardinals now hold a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morehead for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 30. East Surry will confront a Panthers team coming off a 20-4 league win over T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-1.

Next, the Eagles confront the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a Foothills 2A outing, on Friday, March 31. Wilkes Central will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 10-3 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Morehead (Eden, NC).
