The South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) baseball the visiting Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 9-6 in Tuesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A contest, on Friday, March 31. South Brunswick will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Scorpions enter the contest with a 8-4 record after their 5-3 league loss to West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).
