The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 13-2 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Topsail upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a Mideastern outing on Friday, March 31. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 1-8. South Brunswick lost 10-3 in their recent league outing against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
With the defeat, Laney drops to 8-2 on the season. The Buccaneers host Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Screaming Eagle in a Mideastern outing on Friday, March 31. The Screaming Eagle go into the outing with a record of 4-4. Ashley won 17-0 in their recent league outing against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
