Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Vikings confront the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A challenge, on Friday, March 31. Union Pines will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 4-3 league win over Hoke County (Raeford, NC).
The Bucks now have a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they host Purnell Swett for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. Hoke County will confront a Rams team coming off a 4-3 league win over Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 7-4.
