The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) and the visiting Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC), saw Croatan's lacrosse team top Swansboro by a margin of 17-2.

The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Topsail thwarted Laney (Wilmington, NC), 12-9, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a Coastal/Northeastern Coastal battle, on Friday, March 31. Swansboro will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Nighthawks come into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA).
