Atascocita Eagles (Humble, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingwood for a 6A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, March 31. Atascocita will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-0 league win over North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 21-5.

With the loss, Summer Creek falls to 18-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to West Brook (Beaumont, TX) to face the Bruins in a 6A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, March 31. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. West Brook lost 11-0 in their recent league challenge against King (Houston, TX)
