The Belen Eagles softball team (Belen, NM), was routed 11-1 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM)
Coming up next, the Sartans encounter the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) in a 4A District 5 test, on Thursday, March 30. St. Pius X will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Pirates enter the test with a 1-10 record after their 19-3 league loss to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
The Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets enter the 4A District 5 test with a 0-16 record. In their last test, Highland was routed by Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 15-0, in a non-league test.
