The St. Pius X Sartans softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Belen Eagles to 4 in the Sartans league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, St. Pius X improves its record to 13-6 on the year. The Sartans host Grants (Grants, NM) to clash with the Pirates in a 4A District 5 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 5-12.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 game, on Tuesday, April 18. Belen will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 0-20 record after their 18-1 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
