North Carolina High School Softball - C.B. Aycock bounces Smithfield-Selma

The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons routed the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans softball squad by a count of 23-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Golden Falcons (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors go into the Quad County 3A battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, East Wake was routed by South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC), 21-0, in a league battle.

The Spartans now sport a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Hunt for a Quad County 3A battle on Thursday, March 30. Smithfield-Selma will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Triton (Erwin, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.
