The Deer now own a 17-8 record. They take the field next when they host Dobie for a 6A Region III District 22 challenge on Friday, March 31. Deer Park will battle a Longhorns squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, South Houston falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Trojans host Pasadena (Pasadena, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge on Friday, March 31. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Pasadena lost 22-12 in their recent league challenge against Channelview (Channelview, TX)
