The La Joya Coyotes routed the visiting Economedes Jaguars softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Coyotes (20-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mission (Mission, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region IV District 31 battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Mission was routed by Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Jaguars now possess a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Edinburg North for a 6A Region IV District 31 battle on Friday, March 31. Economedes will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 9-16.
