In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Holden Eagles baseball team scored a nice 14-3 victory over the Lexington Minutemen.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO). The Huskers go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Lafayette County overcame Richmond (Richmond, MO), 10-0, in a non-league game.
The Minutemen (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Van Horn (Independence, MO). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Van Horn overcame Ruskin (Kansas City, MO), 10-0, in a non-league game.
