In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Holden Eagles baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Lexington Minutemen.
The Eagles (12-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO). The Guardians go into the non-league game with a 8-8 record.
The Minutemen (1-19) will now prepare for their game against Benton (St. Joseph, MO). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 19-3 record. In their last game, Benton tipped Maryville (Maryville, MO), 12-2, in a league game.
