Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) and the visiting Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), saw Northwest Area's baseball squad knock off Sullivan County by a count of 13-3.

Coming up next, the Rangers play the Millville Quakers (Millville, PA) in a Mid-Penn D4 battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Northwest Area will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Quakers enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Milton (Milton, PA).

The Griffins now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbia Montour Vo-Tech for a Mid-Penn D4 battle on Tuesday, April 2. Sullivan County will play a Rams squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
