Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Sullivan County loses to Northwest Area

The Sullivan County Griffins baseball team (Laporte, PA), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA)

The Rangers now hold a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia Montour Vo-Tech for a Mid-Penn D4 outing on Thursday, May 9. Northwest Area will confront a Rams team coming off a 17-0 league loss to Benton (Benton, PA). The Rams record now stands at 5-12.

Next, the Griffins confront the Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 11. Sullivan County will attempt to advance on its 3-13 season record. The Redskins go into the outing with a 5-8 record after their 5-4 league loss to Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA).
