Fairdale Bulldogs (Fairdale, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Nelson for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. Fairdale will face a Generals squad coming off a 17-16 non-league win over Frankfort (Frankfort, KY). The Generals record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Spencer County falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY) to face the Rockets in a District 30 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Shelby County won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Danville (Danville, KY)
