The Spencer County Bears softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Fairdale Bulldogs to 1 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Spencer County improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY) to clash with the Bearcats in a District 30 game on Thursday, April 18. The Bearcats come into the game with a record of 6-6. Anderson County won 6-2 in their recent league game against Woodford County (Versailles, KY)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers (Louisville, KY) in a District 21 game, on Wednesday, April 17. Fairdale will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 3-6 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Fern Creek (Louisville, KY).
