The Tigers now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mineola for a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Mount Vernon will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Winnsboro falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to face the Red Devils in a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 4-13. Chapel Hill lost 12-9 in their recent league challenge against Harmony (Big Sandy, TX)
