In Friday's non-league bout, the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA), by a tally of 7-1.
Next up, the Eagles encounter the Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. St. John will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 11-11 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA).
The Gators (8-15) will now prepare for their bout against Bell City (Bell City, LA). The Bruins enter the non-league bout with a 4-11 record. In their last bout, Bell City edged Hathaway (Jennings, LA), 8-2, in a league bout.
