Louisiana High School Baseball - St. John wallops Beau Chene

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host St. John Eagles baseball team scored a nice 16-6 win over the Beau Chene Gators.
The Eagles (19-9) will now prepare for their game against Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA). The go into the 1A District 8 game with a 24-7 record. In their last game, Ascension Christian knocked off Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA), 11-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Gators play the Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) in a 4A District 5 game, on Thursday, April 10. Beau Chene will attempt to improve on its 11-17 season record.
