North Carolina High School Baseball - Purnell Swett loses to Gray's Creek

The Purnell Swett Rams baseball squad (Pembroke, NC), 9-6 in Friday's league contest with the host Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC)

With the triumph, Gray's Creek moves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Bears travel to Triton (Erwin, NC) to confront the Hawks in a non-league contest on Monday, March 31. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 8-6. Triton won 13-0 in their recent league contest against Westover (Fayetteville, NC)

The Rams now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, April 1. Purnell Swett will confront a Colts squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Colts record now stands at 9-5.
