Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA), 10-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Homestead advances its record to 5-6 on the season. The Mustangs host Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA) to battle the Fighting Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. The Fighting Knights come into the match with a record of 4-3. Hillsdale lost 5-4 in their recent league match against Carlmont (Belmont, CA)

The Titans now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilcox for a De Anza match on Wednesday, April 2. Gunn will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 5-6.
