In Friday's league game, the visiting Page Pirates baseball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Western Guilford Hornets.
The Pirates (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks enter the Metro 4A game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Northern Guilford defeated Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 5-0, in a league game.
Next, the Hornets face the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A game, on Tuesday, April 1. Western Guilford will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 2-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).
