North Carolina High School Baseball - Seventy-First loses to South View

March 28, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28304

The Seventy-First Falcons baseball squad (Fayetteville, NC), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Friday's league contest with the visiting South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC)

With the triumph, South View moves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC) to confront the Fighting Scots in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 29. The Fighting Scots come into the contest with a record of 8-3. Scotland won 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against Triton (Erwin, NC)

The Falcons now possess a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gray's Creek for a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, April 1. Seventy-First will confront a Bears squad coming off a 9-6 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Bears record now stands at 7-6.
