Webb Spartans (Knoxville, TN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN), 8-6 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, Webb advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN) to encounter the Purple Wave in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. The Purple Wave come into the battle with a record of 1-7. Christian Brothers won 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Collierville (Collierville, TN)

The Eagles now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ensworth for a 1A East Region D2 battle on Friday, April 4. Evangelical Christian will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 20-5 league win over St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
