The Long Island City Bulldogs softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Academy of American Studies Eagles to 12 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sinatra for a PSAL Queens A battle on Friday, April 4.

With the loss, Academy of American Studies moves to 0-1 on the season. The Eagles host Maspeth (Maspeth, NY) to confront the Argos in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 2. The Argos come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Maspeth won 18-10 in their recent non-league battle against Bryant (Queens, NY)
