The Academy of American Studies Eagles triumphed over the host Long Island City Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 16-8 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Maspeth Argos (Maspeth, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Academy of American Studies will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.

The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against The Baccalaureate School for Global Education (Queens, NY). The Sting enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record.
