The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) and the host Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), observed Hayfield's softball team get by Annandale by a tally of 9-2.

The Hawks (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, West Potomac tipped Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 18-16, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Atoms battle the Justice Wolves (Falls Church, VA) in a National bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Annandale will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 14-0 league loss to Edison (Alexandria, VA).
