The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) and the visiting Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), observed Hayfield's softball team notch a victory over Annandale by a final score of 17-0.

The Hawks (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Colonials go into the National bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology gained a win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA), 15-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Atoms battle the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA) in a National bout, on Friday, May 2. Annandale will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Colonials go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 14-4 league loss to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA).
