North Carolina High School Softball - Cherryville bounces Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy

In Friday's league match, the host Cherryville Ironmen softball team scored a nice 18-0 win over the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons.
The Ironmen (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Rams come into the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A match with a 7-3 record.
In their next game, the Gryphons confront the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A match, on Monday, March 31. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Golden Lions come into the match with a 0-11 record after their 24-7 league loss to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC).
