Next, the Eagles play the Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Salado will attempt to upgrade on its 18-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 13-10 league win over Jarrell (Jarrell, TX).

The Badgers (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Cougars enter the 4A Region III District 24 challenge with a 6-15 record. In their last challenge, Jarrell was routed by Burnet (Burnet, TX), 13-10, in a league challenge.
