The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the visiting Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX), observed Salado's softball team get by Lampasas by a final score of 7-3.

The Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region III District 24 bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, Burnet tipped Jarrell (Jarrell, TX), 15-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Badgers battle the Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 bout, on Friday, March 7. Lampasas will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 15-4 league loss to Burnet (Burnet, TX).
