The Providence Panthers crushed the host Independence Patriots baseball team by a count of 17-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Norman for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 30. Providence will face a Wildcats team coming off a 9-2 league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
Next, the Patriots face the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a bout, on Friday, April 1. Independence will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-6 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).
