Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), 9-2 in a league test.
With the win, Providence upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Panthers host Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 27. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 7-5.
With the defeat, Independence falls to 4-6 on the season. The Patriots travel to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Friday, April 8. The Titans come into the test with a record of 6-2.
