Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host McDonogh for a IAAM challenge on Tuesday, April 5.

With the loss, John Carroll falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Harford Tech (Bel Air, MD) to face the Cobras in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Cobras enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
