Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mount de Sales Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Archbishop Spalding will face a Sailors squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD). The Sailors record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, John Carroll falls to 0-3 on the campaign.
