Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tracy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. Sonora will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Lodi (Lodi, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Argonaut falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Sonora (Sonora, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a Mother Lode League challenge on Friday, April 1. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Sonora lost 11-2 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA)
