The Cole Cougars softball team (San Antonio, TX), was routed 13-4 in Tuesday's league test with the host Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX)

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Luling Eagles (Luling, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 test, on Friday, April 1. Nixon-Smiley will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles enter the test with a 4-12 record after their 14-9 league win over Stockdale (Stockdale, TX).

The Cougars (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Randolph (Universal City, TX). The Ro-Hawks enter the 3A Region IV District 26 test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Randolph prevailed over Marion (Marion, TX), 10-7, in a league test.
