In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Jena Giants softball team scored a close 12-5 win over the Marksville Tigers.

Coming up next, the Giants battle the North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 31. Jena will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Griffins enter the outing with a 14-5 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Florien (Florien, LA).
