The Vela Sabercats softball team (Edinburg, TX), was routed 12-0 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX)

Coming up next, the Coyotes encounter the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders (Pharr, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 31 test, on Friday, April 1. La Joya will attempt to improve on its 18-6 season record. The Raiders enter the test with a 16-1 record after their 15-0 league win over Vela (Edinburg, TX).

The Sabercats (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX). The Cougars enter the 6A Region IV District 31 test with a 13-13 record. In their last test, Edinburg North was routed by Mission (Mission, TX), 6-3, in a league test.
