The North Moore Mustangs baseball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Cummings Cavaliers to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Timberwolves go into the non-league match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Montgomery Central was overwhelmed by Ledford (Thomasville, NC), 14-2, in a league match.
The Cavaliers (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Bartlett Yancey was overwhelmed by Person (Roxboro, NC), 3-1, in a non-league match.
