The North Moore Mustangs baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Cummings Cavaliers to 1 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Cummings (Burlington, NC). The Cavaliers go into the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Cummings was overwhelmed by Eno River (Hillsborough, NC), 15-5, in a non-league match.
The Cavaliers (0-7) will now prepare for their match against North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Mustangs go into the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, North Moore was overwhelmed by Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC), 3-1, in a league match.
