California High School Baseball - Franklin defeats McClatchy

March 29, 2025: Elk Grove, CA 95757

The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) and the visiting McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), saw Franklin's baseball team gain a win over McClatchy by a tally of 6-1.

The Wildcats (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers enter the battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, West Park held off Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) in a battle, on Thursday, April 3. McClatchy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Thundering Herd enter the battle with a 9-1 record after their 12-2 league win over Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
